ChildBirth Education
Welcome to Bera Birth's ChildBirth Educational Program on physiological birth and home birth preparation. Six sessions, that will guide and support you through the essential aspects of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. The aim is to support you with the knowledge, evidence, and confidence needed for a positive and powerful birthing experience, from an educated and prepared stance.
From wild pregnancy, to sovereign birth, to postpartum wholesome care.
All held with a ritualistic and reverent approach to the sanctity of birth, and the sacred initiation for mothers and fathers.

Greetings! Thank you for being here! I am a ceremonialist, poet, and dreamer of the wild, passionate about holistic birth care and a natural, uninhibited approach to birthing and birth tending. I am a mother to four wildlings, living in the high deserts of Colorado. Trained with The ToLabor organization as a Doula and served as a midwife's assistance for some time. My passion for birth lead me to explore extensive self-guided studies which combined with nature immersive retreats and spiritual pilgrimages awoke in me a cultivated sense of devotion to the wild woman ways. Furthermore, I am a graduate of the Radical Birth Keeper School and a soon-to-be graduate of the MatriBirth Midwifery Institute. Serving women in ceremonial ways for over 20 years and families with birth-related support for the past 10 years.

Mimi has been by my side in both of my births. One of which terminated and one that brought forth the life of my son. In my first pregnancy, at 19 weeks I unexpectedly went into labor. An hour away from my home trying to find answers, Mimi and I ended up in the bathroom of a hospital, my body ready to abort my unborn child. I felt scared and vulnerable, not knowing what to do when Mimi looked me in the eyes and gently commanded, "Dear, this is our Temple." Instantaneously my mind was transformed and the unfortunate environment became my first adult contact with the altar of life- which doesn't always produce. Mimi turned a most challenging situation from tragic to magic. Not the kind of magic that always ends up 'happily ever after', but the real kind of magic where deep acceptance and indescribable connection permeates your understanding of an encounter with the mysteries of life. I can never thank her enough for how she supported me in that most difficult moment of my life.
Mimi was my doula for the second pregnancy. She tended to my heart, body and mind with her generous support, nourished my spirit with the most beautiful blessing ceremony and, again, stood by my side in my almost 3 day long labor. The birth took an unexpected turn and Mimi honored, encouraged and supported the many difficult decisions I was faced with at the time.
I cannot say enough words to portray the exalted skill, love and care that Mimi puts into serving the women that she works with. She has a heart of gold, an incredibly discerning mind and an acutely dialed in intuitive system that informs her on untold levels.
